Days 7, 8 and 9 - Duba Plains
From Selinda, you fly further north to Duba Plains Camp, one of the most dramatic wildlife reserves in Botswana and location of the National Geographic documentary “Relentless Enemies” which shows the constant battle between lions and buffalo. The huge grasslands are teeming with red lechwe, elephant, Tsessebe, buffalo and rhino. What makes Duba Plains so dramatic is that the 2 prides of lions that dominate the area are constantly hunting the large herds of buffalo that move from one island to the next. We love Duba Plains as it is one of the best areas in Africa to see lions. Because of the habitat of waterways, lagoons and grasslands the lions here tend to be much larger than other areas of Africa. Duba Plains is a luxury camp overlooking a lagoon. Each of the huge tents has a large veranda, private plunge pool and Sala where you can rest between safari activities. Guests staying at Duba Plains can explore the area on walking safaris, getting closer to nature and seeing the smaller things that you would miss whilst on a vehicle. For those guests wanting to get closer to the action, Duba Plains offers day and night game drives as well as boating along the rivers and channels of the Okavango Delta.

Days 10 and 11 - Victoria Falls
After the excitement of your safaris in Botswana, head to one of the Natural Wonders of the World, the mighty Victoria Falls. There is so much to do in Victoria Falls that can be tailored to suit everyone. Whether you are looking for a heart pumping bungee jump, gorge swing or white-water rafting or looking for something a little more relaxing like an afternoon sunset cruise on the upper Zambezi, we can design your itinerary around your interests and needs. One thing we highly recommend is the scenic helicopter flight over the falls. Our top tip for visiting the falls, is to go as early as possible to avoid the crowds and heat, but it also offers the best light for photographs. The sun rises over Zambia, so it is possible to take photos with a beautiful pink hue in the sky.
